Actually, it’s more of a kinja bug. As so many things are. A post with no title and no text that Kinja can use instead of a title will be ignored for recent post consideration. The recent post table doesn’t realize there’s a post there.

Kind of like how a post without any text used to show up on the main page with a “0" as text/title, went to not doing that, and now does it again sometimes.
